IGNITE THE NIGHT

NATIONAL CAMPAIGN

Brief: After two long pandemic years, Disneyland announced the return of the Nighttime Spectaculars. For the first time in years, guests could enjoy World of Color, Forever Fireworks, Fantastic, and Main Street Electric Parade. The emphasis of the celebration was on the 50th Anniversary of Main Street Electric Parade, and the campaign was tasked with balancing nostalgia and newness for this limited time celebration.

This national campaign aimed to showcase the emotions and excitement that the Nighttime Spectaculars create in order to drive crave, interest, and FOMO to motivate consumers to reserve their tickets for this unique opportunity. To capture these moments without impacting guest experiences, Yellow Shoe's team was the first at Disneyland to use StageCraft, an on-set virtual production visual effects technology consisting of a video wall. The set designer also created duplicates of iconic park items, such as the wrought-iron Mickey Mouse fence around World of Color, to make the space even more life-like and bring the park to the set.
